The following are the core beliefs of River Hills Church | South Sioux City, NE based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
We Believe:
the Bible is the Inspired and only authoritative written Word of God

there is One God, eternal existent in three person; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost

in the Virgin Birth of Christ, His vicarious, atoning death,
bodily resurrection and ascension

in Salvation Through the Blood of Jesus Christ
(Romans 10:9; Hebrews 10:9,10, 13; Hebrews 9:14; I Peter 1:18-19)
in Water Baptism by Immersion

the Redemptive Work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body
(Isaiah 53:3-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:13-15)
in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues

in the Sanctifying Power of the Holy Spirit who enables a believer to live a holy life
